Along with the first character photos a new trailer has been released last night at those godawful MTV Awards for upcoming new epic fantasy series SHANNARA which is, believe it or not, arriving to MTV next January. Set thousands of years in the future in the world of elven kingdoms, the ten episode series will be the small screen adaptation of Terry Brook's popular fantasy novels. Austin Butler leads the cast in the lead role of Wil Ohmsford - half human and half elf - who discovers that he is the last of the legendary Shannara family.POPPY DRAYTON IS AMBERLE
