EVA LONGORIA

TO PRODUCE 'BONITA & MECHELLE' SITCOM FOR NBC

A bunch of new comedy series has been ordered by major networks, people, and Dezzy is here to tell you which ones! Eva Longoria, who is already starring and producing HOT & BOTHERED comedy series this Fall at NBC, will now produce BONITA & MECHELLE a multi camera sitcom on two women, one Hispanic and one African American who find themselves living together while conquering the ups and downs of single life and parenting!

OTHER NEW NBC SITCOMS

MANLY 'MANHOOD' COMEDY
NBC has also ordered MANHOOD which looks at what it means to be a man today, when the gender lines have never been blurrier, following three men who explore different sides of masculinity in a weekly men’s group meeting, where they cry, beat drums and fire-walk to find the answer.
NEW MARLON WAYANS SITCOM
The same network has also nabbed new sitcom with Marlon Wayans!  Loosely inspired by Wayans’ life, the untitled comedy centres on an inappropriate but loving father committed to successfully co-parenting with his polar opposite ex-wife.

'THE REAL O'NEALS'

Instead of ruining their family, the honesty triggers a new, messier chapter where everyone stops pretending to be perfect and actually starts being real.

COMEDY WEEKEND: FIRST CAST PHOTOS FROM EVA LONGORIA'S, ZACHARY LEVI'S NEW 'HOT & BOTHERED' NBC SITCOM WITH HER AS A STAR OF A FICTIONAL TELENOVELA

'HOT & BOTHERED' SITCOM

CAST PHOTOS FROM EVA LONGORIA'S NEW COMEDY

And to finish our comedy weekend during which we've been announcing new sitcoms, here are the first cast photos from another of NBC's new comedy series, single camera sitcom (although, having the cast and story in mind I think this would've been much better as a multi camera one) HOT & BOTHERED which is arriving to the small screens in thirteen episodes sometime later in the midseason starring Eva Longoria as a telenovela star who doesn't really speak Spanish!

ON THE SET OF A TELENOVELA
If you think the steamy sex, sensational scandals and heart wrenching heartbreak on Latino soap operas are a little extreme, just wait until you see what happens behind the scenes! Eva Longoria stars in this new comedy about Ana Sofia, a sizzling TV superstar, and her lively family of cast and crew all competing to steal the spotlight. When the cameras turn off, the drama turns up as Ana battles pesky network execs, drunken scriptwriters, narcissistic co-stars and an unfortunately familiar new on-screen love interest.

ZACHARY LEVI ALSO STARS

Jencarlos Canela stars in the comedy (from COUGAR TOWN writers and producers) as Ana's ex husband who will make her life a living hell when he gets the leading male role in her new telenovela and she has to star with him in it. Jadyn Douglas stars Roxie Rios, while Jose Moreno Brooks is Gael Garnica, Ana's gay co-star! Mexican superstar Carlos Ponce and Zachary Levi (as the new network president) will guest star.
